IMAZ in conjunction with PSI held a male circumcision camp in Chinhoyi. The team was led by Dr. Ashmawy and was comprised of Dr. Sururu, Dr. Khalid Siam, Sister Mpofu, Sister Shuro and Sister Makumbe. They were also assisted by Br. Hakim Asani and Br. Moosa Gwanzura.
A total of 300 people benefited.
14th JUNE 2012 – FREE MEDICAL SUPPORT- AL SHIFA MEDICAL AID CARD DESIGNED
The medical card was designed and form distributed to people for vetting exercise to determine eligibility.

29th JULY 2012 – LOBENGULA MEDICAL OUTREACH
This was by far the largest medical outreach ever conducted by the Islamic Medical Association of Zimbabwe. It was conducted at Lobengula Masjid in Bulawayo.
The team comprised Dr. Amer, Dr. Sarkiss, Dr. Elsaiary, Dr. Sururu, Dr. Chivanga, and Dr. Mucheni. It was joined by two visitors from the United States of America namely Dr. Mariam Esat and Dr. Eman Amer. The pharmacist team comprised of Mr. Muhammad Lunat and Miss Amina Jina. The nursing staff was Sr Makumbe, Sr Shuro, Sr Tabitha and Sr Catherine. Miss Von Mbaya was an HIV counselor.
250 people were screened and received free medication; some of them were referred for surgery by different specialists from our team.
11th AUGUST 2012 – MALE CIRCUMCISION CAMP (BULAWAYO)
Circumcision camp held at Eye Clinic Bulawayo in collaboration with PSI Zimbabwe.
The camp was led by IMAZ. Dr. Ashmawy and Dr. Sururu were assisted by four PSI doctors.
200 boys of the age group between 6 months and 14 years were circumcised.
